Play on your pad
Your phone's microphone listens while you play naturally.
For drummers who practise on a pad
Alone on a pad, your feel lags your ability. one&a hears every take and makes the call — repeat, move up, or step back — and the coaching runs through Claude, which you connect yourself.
Push the edge of control instead. one&a hears every take and makes the call — repeat, move up, or step back — and the coaching runs through Claude, which you connect yourself.
See it in action
One short take turns into a clear next tempo — without charts to decode or numbers to second-guess.
How it works
Your phone's microphone listens while you play naturally.
one&a checks the timing and evenness of each stroke. Honest numbers — when it can’t hear you cleanly, it says so instead of guessing.
Connect one&a to Claude and reach your takes and sessions from inside it. Ask what to do next — repeat, move up or step back — from your actual playing.
Set it up in Claude, and it’s waiting when you pick up the sticks.
What it does
Timing and evenness of every stroke, from your phone’s mic. Nothing to wire up.
The fastest tempo you can still play consistently. one&a finds it and shows how it moves, session to session.
If the audio isn’t clean enough to score, it says so instead of guessing. It measures timing and evenness — it won’t judge your grip or musicality. That’s your teacher’s job.
The open part
The pad app measures — that part’s solid. The coaching is the open part. You already use Claude; connect one&a to it, and you reach your takes, sessions and exercises from inside Claude: ask what to work on from your actual playing, and set up your next session before you pick up the sticks.
The pad measures. You and Claude decide.
